A Brief History

Back in the late 1960's at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, a new technology was developed that was destined to change the way that people use computers. It was called "computer graphics" and allowed anyone sitting in front of a computer to transcend the techno world of bits and bytes into the human world of images and graphics.  Today global companies such as Adobe, Silicon Graphics, and Pixar all trace their roots back to this Salt Lake based breakthrough innovation in technology.

Now in 2009 another revolution is brewing in Salt Lake City. An elect group of those same minds that envisioned and launched the computer graphics industry have come together to develop the next level of computer visualization. This next level of computer vision is called "Life Dimensional" and allows a person to immerse themselves into real world scenes through their computer interface. It goes far beyond even 3-D. The user is now able to interact in a scene with such realism that it's almost like being there in person.

InteliSum Inc. (ISI) is the exclusive holder of the patents and technology which fuses Light Detection And Ranging (LIDAR) XYZ position coordinates, digital imaging (RGB data) and geophysical information (GPS) into every pixel. This gives each pixel in the scene "intelligence". This intelligent pixel technology (Intelipixel™) allows quick and easy capture of real world scenes into life dimensional computer files (LD3 files) and facilitates smooth and seamless transition of the information into CAD.

ISI's Software Studio gives users the ability to load LD3 files on their computer and navigate through these captured real world scenes right from their desktop. The tedious and costly practice of field surveying has now been made obsolete with the advent of what ISI has labeled as "Desktop Surveying."

The goal of ISI is that someday, every pixel will be intelligent.
